If there is such a thing as truth, then we should be able to find it. If truth cannot be known, then it probably doesn't exist. But, it does exist. For example, we know that it is true that you are in this forum right now. So, what is true, and how have you used truth in your life? |

Service to others is pretty straight forward - use your experience, knowledge, wealth, status, etc, to help those less privileged than you. Anyone who engages in these behaviors can tangibly feel the good they are doing. However, living a selfish life where you create nothing, help no one, spend time alone leaving nothing of a legacy, that is tragic. Contributing to others is noble. How has your heart changed doing noble things? |

Pure water is clean. It is completely transparent. Something that has been purified has been taken back to its original state. A child is like a pure human being, innocent, free, and with no hidden agendas. What you see is what you get. When you look in the eyes of a child you see purity.
Is it possible for us to first experience, and then become pure and clean in thoughts and feelings like a child? What do you have to share?

Because we all live in a fallen world full of ugly and nasty things that drain away our strength, courage, and hope we need to find the lovely things and focus on them. So, what out there is lovely? |
