Finding our Worth
Lately, when looking around at the many discussions border lining arguments, great heaviness fills my heart.
Many people do not know thier worth. If this were not true, so many debates/discussions/arguments would not be necessary. Do you know your worth? It starts with who God says we are, and ends up with us believing it. Okay I can almost hear you saying.."I know my worth, and I do believe it...but everyone is wrong, and I must be right, and they must know it".
While thinking on this, Jesus before the religious rulers of his day, before the Roman empire, definitely knew HIS worth, and WHO HE was, and found no reason for debate. I think there is several reasons for that. One would be HE call to finish the walk to the cross. (Which is the foundation for who we are!), and also they had already made up their minds, they were going to believe what they wanted to, and even GOD in a mans body would not change their minds. No reason to argue the facts. You will not get argumentative dialog with me. So now that you know you are safe here..
We are priceless to our Creator, no competition with our sisters or brothers, HE is capable of loving and caring and feeling the same towards each of us, never changing HIS mind about us. We are:
*priceless to our Creator
*to die for
*the apple of HIS eye
* HE is enthroned by our beauty
*Provides every thing we need
*never leaves us alone
*always waiting and wanting conversation with us
*our relationship is priority with HIM
IF I find myself intrigued by discussion, or feeling the debate coming on today...don't think I am negative by looking up for something else...Just grasping who I am, and my worth..priceless!
