Two Question Tuesday
Every Tuesday we are going to post two questions for discussion. Comments are moderated so we will do our best to get them authorized as quickly as possible.
We want to fulfill our desires with things of this world, and we want to get it now!! Instead of waiting on God's timing for the desire to be fulfilled. The basics of the desire is we want to be happy. Money, sex, alcohol, job positions, and even people. We think it makes us happy when it won't. When it doesn't we put on a mask of happiness, Christians attemp to be more spiritual, even though nothing is fixed. We have the appearance that all is good, that we are happy. Especially for men, to appear any other way is a sign of weakness. We are meant for a relationship with God, and it is only Him that can provide for our desires, fulfill them, and bring us to true joy.
