In the eyes of the world Nathan is still just a kid at 18 years of age. However in the biblical since he is wise beyond his years without losing his child like faith. Co- founder of j516.com, Nathan writes from his heart shooting straight with the reader on subjects that every man battles. Nathan now steps up to the 10 question challenge.
1. Why do you follow Christ?
(I use this as my short testimony) Because he's alive, he heals and he has changed me.
2. Who was your biggest influence towards your relationship with Christ?
Can I be cheesy? And say the Holy Spirit... just having that experience of Jesus so awesome... I can't really tell you who pushed me that way but
there are lots. Inc. My Parents, My God parents, My Friend and Mentor Yan, everyone who's prayed for me (wow feels like I just won an oscar)
3. What is truth to you?
Jesus ... quite simply ... Too many lies are thrown my way... many penetrate... Jesus is the Truth that a can hold onto.
4. Looking at Phil 4:8, besides True, which one of the remaining 7 filters would you say describes your story the best and why?
Pure, because that is the one I have understood and begun fighting to see in men with my ministry.
5. When you look at the world what is the one thing you wish you could filter out completely and why?
Sexual Immorality... it's so destructive... and for every guy especially it's such a struggle and usually so hidden.
6. What is your defining moment in your belief in Christ?
Oh... well, not sure I have one... erm... (I have the boring christian testimony)... can I say being given a specific calling.
7. Scripture says that the glory of God is seen in all his creation. Outside of scripture, what from his creation reveals God to you?
The Beauty I find when I take photos, and long bike rides (don't ask me why)
8. How do you maintain a biblical world view on a daily bases?
Prayer... basically... and reading the word (which I don't do enough of)
9. If you can describe just one, what is the one quality of Christ that you would say you have now because of your changed life and why?
Oh wow, what a question, I can't really claim to have qualities of Christ to any christlike measure... My leadership abilities have increased because of Christ, i know that... my ability to Love selflessly (at least as much as I can) definitely wouldn't be there without Christ.
10. What is true about Christ in your life?
He is my LORD, my Brother, my Friend.
