Affect The Noise 2: 40 Verses.
Don't think you have the power to affect the information flow going out to the world? Here a second challenge for everyone to affect the information in the lives of 40 people.
Last week I challenged everyone to pray for 40 people. (That challenge is still open.)
The premise of theses challenges is to affect the noise and information that is flowing into the world. Jesus commanded us to preach and make disciples of all nations. The only way to do that is to preach the truth or His word.
So this week is the 40 verse challenge. This is a chance to spread the word of God in a unique way.
10 people a day for 4 days. If you are a believer in Christ and you use Twitter or Facebook. 10 people, 10 Messages, 10 Verses for 4 days. The first 10 people you see update their status with Twitter Facebook send to them a verse of scripture that spoke to you that day via Direct Message on Twitter or Send a message via Facebook. If you don’t use ether get some 3 x 5 note cards and write them out and hand them to 10 people.
Nether I or anyone else will know if you do this for real or not. The challenge is there for the taking, and this is a chance to affect the information stream we are so influenced by everyday.
