Brian Swan is the first to take the 10 question challange. 

Because I have come to realize how much God loved His son that He would create me and others to become a wonderful Bride for His son.   

It is Love that drives me with passion to serve the Lord with all my heart, soul, strength, and mind so I can become the Bride God wants for His Son, Christ! 

Who was my biggest influence towards your relationship with Christ? 

I do not have any single person who was the biggest influence.  It was the love that others showed me over time that led me to have what they had - A first name basis with the Creator. 

What is Truth to me? 

Christ.   

When I focus on Him and Him only, I am staring Truth in the face. 

What filter best describes my story? 

They all do.  I am to focus on all the filters, not just one.  If I do that I will have peace with my creator. 

It is the word “whatever” that has defined me as a follower of Christ, not each filter.   

I believe His Word is “living and active”.  So I read scripture trying to find Christ in me and how to filter my life having the Holy Spirit lead me in my decisions.  As a significant part of His Bride (the body) the “whatever” is whatever he wants of me.  The “whatever” could be different for the other parts of the body, and I am not to judge or tell others how to define their “whatever”.  If others within the body are focused on Christ, He will have them do “whatever” He wants for His Will. 

When I look at the world, what is one thing I wish I could filter out completely, and why? 

Sin.   

Because sin is what hinders us to grow in the unity of Christ. 

What is my defining moment in my belief in Christ? 

I do not have any single moment I can turn to.  My heart melded into a love for Him. 

Outside of scripture, how is God revealed to me? 

I look at how intricate the universe is, and how it all runs like a well-oiled machine.  That reminds me of God everyday. 

How do I maintain a biblical worldview everyday? 

I continue to tell myself that I live for an audience of one.  I really do not care what the world thinks of me.  If the world does not like the way I live my life, so be it.  I am created for Him and for Him only. 

Describe just one quality of Christ I have since I believe in Him? 

Simplicity … I have learned a great deal on how to approach life in a much simpler way.   

Christ has shown me that the more I have, the more I have to be concerned with.  If I give up a lot of “stuff” in this world, and focus on God and family, and just be the man Christ wants of me – it is that simple.  God did not make it hard.  People make things harder than it has to be.

What is true about Christ in me? 

That there is going to be a great wedding celebration, and I have already RSVP’d.   

I know God will stick to His promises, and one day I will be a part of the eternal Bride for Christ.
