Noble is a Godly Quality
When I was in elementary school, my mother remarried and my step-father was a gift from God to us, we just didnt know that. First of all, he married my mother with four kids, and all of us out of control. He took us to church every time the doors were open, had devotions after supper every night(and they were mandatory). He would also give us verses to memorize, and it was something we had to do, if we had any intention of a weekend that pleased us. We hated it! But I have always been a compliant person, especially to get what I wanted..so memorize I did.
Psalm 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
During my years of rebellion, I found myself in danger, and so far from God. Amazing, those verses that I memorized as a child, would flow back into my mind, and off my lips and a surreal kind of peace would cover me. I didnt know at the time, the pursuit of a KING, and that fact that HIS word (HIS truth) always accomplishes what it sets out to do.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it. In my eyes today and in my heart, my step-dad was a noble man, taking on my chaotic hurting family, and teaching us the Word, looking out for our eternal future, and providing for us. I have come to the conclusion that Gods Truth instilled in a man is Noble, or it will show Nobility.
