Woman to Woman-Lets Be Honest

Women, do you need a drink?   A drink so deep of the water that will give you refreshment, life for eternity, and fill the voids in your life you thought could not be filled.  Will you dip your glass into the well of the living water?
Let's just drop the mask, and the image that others see when looking at us, and let's get honest with our self. So many times we sit in Womens groups, everyone around us looks like they have it all together. It leaves us wondering why we are not like that, "what's wrong with me".  "I do love Jesus", "I really try to be a good mother", "I really try to set a good example", "I am really trying to be a good wife", "I am not satisfied with Christianity, and I want no one to know that"...I know you.  Sometimes the children are just too demanding, sometimes the husband just wants attention and we are exhausted.  Our bosses want us to be 100% while there, but honestly we are running thin, low on sleep, and just not happy, and we don't know why.  Deep in our minds, we start to feel like we are not making the grade.  STOP right there!

In John 4:10 "if you knew the gift of God who it is who asks you for a drink, you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water."

In John 4:13 "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but who ever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed the water I give hime will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

Okay, maybe you never lived the life of the woman at the well (thank God for that), but our emptiness is the same. We pour ourselves out til there just is no more. Then we beat our self up for not meeting a standard that has never been set for us in Christ, especially to meet on our own.  We need the living water. We need to ask to be filled til all our voids disappear.  More Jesus..More Jesus.  Amazing that even just the name starts to calm a weary soul.  We know this, right?  So what is our problem?  We did that already..at least once.  That is the problem. This is not about your salvation, this is about the abundant life in Christ that as a child of the KING you are entitled to, its yours.

Some days, we need to ask once to have HIM fill our voids, those days when the children are never ending..we need to ask more.  One of the beautiful things about our God is ... HE never tires or becomes annoyed because we are back for more.  HE delights in us, and HE wants to fill us no matter how many times a day, we need it. HE wants us to ask, to depend on HIM to fill the places that drain us.

There is nothing wrong with you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made..the KING is enthralled by your beauty..HE delights in you...when you are feeling empty, ask for more..fill me LORD for your honor and your glory.
