“How do you show someone the love of Christ when you just want to pound the crap out of them?”
Yesterday I made a statement on Twitter/Facebook. “How do you show someone the love of Christ when you just want to pound the crap out of them?” I’m generally a pretty mild tempered person but sometimes when someone you love is hurting it can be frustrating. I have to admit some of the responses I got were amusing to say the least.
“Pound the crap out of them and tell them it was from God”
“Pound them and then teach them God’s grace by asking for forgiveness”
“WWJD?” “Never mind that, what would Scooby do?”
By asking this question I was actually able to smile because of some these responses. I also did get an answer to my question.
“You don’t pound the crap out of them. That ought to count for something”

John 15:12 “This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you…”
Does it make it easier? No… Does it turn you in the right direction on how to better deal with the situation? Absolutely…
