CHANGES CHANGES

This is a quick post to inform everyone of a change here at Philter48.

The blogging software that I use here is not very good, and one of the biggest issues is that for some reason not everyone can leave comments.  One of the main reason for Philter48 is to have that interaction and discussion.

So this will be the last post on this blog.  From here on out go here:

http://philter48.wordpress.com/

All new posts will be posted there.  The old blog will remain active for now, but comments will be turned off.

Peace an love to all.

Carl.

For His Pleasure

Paul writing to the Church of Ephesis talks to them about what it means to live under the Grace of God, and how to build a lifestyle worthy of that Grace.

This is the 7th week of the Blogged Bible Study. We are going chapter by chapter through Paul’s letter to the Church of Ephasis. To read the other posts on chapter 1 of Ephesians check out the Blogged Bible Study page.

Conversations...

I view prayer with God in two different ways, Petition and Conversation.  Petitioning God is what I do when I have a request of God’s will.  Conversation is what I do as I go through the day in constant communication with God.

Over the past week I have had a lot of conversation with God.  Sometimes I just ask questions, sometimes I make statements.  What follows is just an example of what I talked to God about this week.

Crucified into a new Creation apart from the World!

What is it that draws us in?  Why do we fall to the pleasures?   This world has run amuck of the Lord God’s intention and we have a way of buying into the state of Chaos.  Good thing we have a God who loves us and wants to save us from ourselves.  Good thing we have a savior that willing was crucified for our willingness to accept the world.  Good thing by believing in that Savior by his resurrection we have a new life apart from this world run amuck.

The C word.

This world is built on it , we are created for it. yet we miss it cause we are to busy looking for it in the wrong places.

Something is happening, can you feel it?   More and more people I run into are talking about it.  Something is missing in this world and people are starting to wonder if we can get back what we have lost.  With all the craziness in the, the distractions, and the apathy… Can we get back what we are truly meant to be a part of?

Among the Pagans...

We don’t always have to preach, and pull out bible verses to tell the truth fo Christ.  Sometimes we just have to show up at the right time.  Offer a word of encouragement.  Listen when a person is down.  Offer a prayer when it is needed.  A hug to show love.  It is the little things that we do that will plant the little seeds, that with time and prayer, we hope Christ roots into the heart.

The only thing that matters..We must.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

Luke 10:27 He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.”

This is the 5th week of the Blogged Bible Study. We are going chapter by chapter through Paul’s letter to the Church of Galatia. To read the other posts on chapter 5 of Galatians check out the Blogged Bible Study page.

Pure Randomness my life in God's will

Some Random Stuff going on, in my life while walking in God’s will.   Just be warned that this post that I just had to get some thoughts out in.  My thoughts are sometimes scary…

rather are known by God

I have known for awhile that this verse has been coming up in Galatians and to be honest it is one of the most perplexing to me.  I am cheating a bit cause I wrote about this verse on my old blog in 2 parts.  So This BBS entry is long so bare with me.  I am using parts from the comments also.

This is the 4th week of the Blogged Bible Study. We are going chapter by chapter through Paul’s letter to the Church of Galatia. To read the other posts on chapter 4 of Galatians check out the Blogged Bible Study page.

Live Blog Wednes--Er Thursday.

Tonight the live blog was about some new Ideas for Affect the Noise.

Do you?

This is the 3rd week of the Blogged Bible Study. We are going chapter by chapter through Paul’s letter to the Church of Galatia. To read the other posts on chapter 3 of Galatians check out the Blogged Bible Study page.

To think to be true(Christ),, to be persuaded of(The Word), to credit(Christ for your Salvation), place confidence in (The Father God our daily provider)

Thoughts on Studying God's word.

Some good discussion after the last post on Galatians, and it got me thinking hard.

When it comes to studying scripture here are just some thoughts.

I started thinking about application of scripture. Scripture applies to life, not life to scripture.

We are also not meant to walk this journey alone.  We need to be sharpened, honed, and held to the path of Truth in Christ, we can not do that on our own.  We must be willing to take on the burdens of Brothers and Sisters in Christ, so that none of us walk off the path.

What is up with Peter?

This is the second week of the Blogged Bible Study. We are going chapter by chapter through Paul’s letter to the Church of Galatia. To read the other posts on chapter 2 of Galatians check out the Blogged Bible Study page.

--------------------------------

If you have read my posts for awhile you will know a couple things.

1. I don’t see the bible as a linear set of writings. I look for the connections and look for the circles to be complete. The consistent message of Christ salvation throughout.

2. I some times post what I call a ramble. This is nothing more than me typing my thoughts as I read through and study scripture. I often have no real focus or theme, just my personal reflection as I pray for God’s guidance on the scripture.

What follows may not make any since. The other posts on Gal 2 have all done amazing jobs breaking down the key parts of the chapter. Peter’s legalism, justification and salvation by Grace, and to add to Grace discounts the sacrifice of Christ. But…

Live Blog Wednesday 9-9-09

Tonight'slive blog was me just thinking about the past few months, and how I have been like Peter when he walke on the water with Jesus.   Peter stepped out of the boat to walk on the water, but he doubted then sank.  Jesus rescued him, and then Peter had to trust Jesus as they walked back to the boat.  That is where I am at, walking back to the boat.  (I couldn't pass up the leggo depiction of Jesus and Peter on the water, it just fits who I am)

Reconnecting

Families today are under a tremendous amount of stress.  With the start of a new school year new challenges on their time lead to stress that can often lead them to feel disconnected, alone, and with out the support of their spouse.  Nether one is to blame here, but often both are not relying on Christ to be their support in times of stress.  This often leads to them not being available to give support to their spouse when needed.  Hmmm…..Seems we got caught in that situation….

This is personal... Galatians 1

This is the first week of the Blogged Bible Study.   We are going chapter by chapter through Paul’s letter to the Church of Galatia.  To read the other posts on chapter 1 of Galatians check out the Blogged Bible Study page.

Live Blog Wednesday

To nights live blog covered an exciting new idea, to interact with God's truth.    The contents of the live blog are contained in this post.

Faith Extended

Philter48?: There comes a point in a persons life where you just have to stop sucking in the garbage this world throws at you. I have gotten to that point. Paul in Phil 4:8 gives us a filter to help us get the garbage out of our lives. God’s truth is the only way to live a life righteous enough to make it through Phil 4:8. One of my favorite things is to see others live their lives according to God’s truth and share their experiences so they can help others. That is what Philter48 is all about.

Angels watching over us

Angels are mentioned 203 times in the Bible.  As a child, the pictures that were shown to me of angels, certainly did not seem to put my mind at ease.  All of them were little fairy like females that appeared timid to me.  I did not find any security in knowing that they were protecting me. It didn't take me long to decide I needed to protect myself.  As a child we take things very literal.  They see a fairy type person, called angel, and that is what they think. I needed to know that God sent Angels on my behalf, and they were capable.

Stop, in the name of LOVE

GOD is LOVE, at the same time GOD is GOD! HE has provided some warnings for us to heed. The goodnews is HE has provided for us to be overcomers. As I write tonight, and work through some of this myself, trembling in the presence of our Holy GOD is good for me, it helps the perspective of who HE is, and that our very breath we take for granted is a gift from HIM.

Blogged Bible Study

Time to start up the Blogged Bible Study again.  The goal is to include as many bloggers as possible.  We would all post on a particular topic on assigned days. Each blogger could add a page or link to a page here on Philter48 with links to the blogs on the assigned day.  Diagrammed out a bit…

TOPIC FOR WEEK 1 IS “Who is God?”

Day 1:  Blogger X , Blogger Y,

Day 2:  Blogger B,  Blogger D

And so on for the week for any given topic,  or for how ever many bloggers get involved.  We will have a new topic or chapter each week.

This will give every blogger a chance to study God’s word on a certain topic and post what they learn.   I would like to keep the actual blog posting limited to believers in Christ, but non believers would be free to comment and participate in the discussions that follow the post.

If you are not a Blogger and would like to start this would be a great way to get started, or maybe even just to be a guest blogger on a given topic.

There are already a few committed to this study,  is there anyone else interested in joining this study?

Please leave me comments and suggestions.

Watch Out For That Plank!

Hey this is Carl.

First I want to say, I am so glad Joe McBee is back to his roots at  The Peregrin Pages  I only know Joe online from blogging and face book.  If I read him right he has a heart for the Lord, and loves his family dearly.  You can read more about him by clicking the about link above.

Joe writes from that heart, and doesn’t pull punches.  Please make sure to check his writing out.  You won't be disappointed

Why  am I reposting from his personal blog? Because what he wrote  is the heart of what Philter48 is about.  Real people dealing with real life, dealing with the garbage we create, by using the Truth of Christ as our filter.

Seeking Understanding

In our modern day technologies, we can seek understanding on most anything. It even seems at times to be an endless supply of knowledge, so we take it in and hope for the mastery that comes from that knowledge/understanding. We want to understand how things work, why things happen, and how we can make a difference or change, but it all falls under our own understanding of whatever we are seeking.

Worship in Hope.

Mandy Tompson posted some questions about worship music.  My main response came from this post on worship.

Worship is not about us.  Worship is about the hope God gives us, and the praise we sing to him about the things he has done for us.

Take a listen to this hymn sung by Johnny Cash.   Where the Soul of Man never dies.

What do you hear?  What does this old hymn point us two?

To Canaan’s land, I’m on my way,
Where the soul of man never dies.
My darkest night will turn to day,
Where the soul of man never dies. (Where the soul of a man never dies.)

I trusted..I loved.

Mark 9:37 “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”

It is obvious that Jesus loved the children that were around him during his ministry. I have to believe that he laughed with them as they played, and comforted them when they cried. How cool would it have been to be a kid back then and to run to Jesus with a scrapped knee, only to have him cradle you in his arms, cup your knee in his hand….And yep you guessed it Boo Boo gone.  Jesus knew that is was only through their innocence that trust can be built, and through that trust faith can be rooted deep in the heart.

Are you brokenhearted?

We all suffer at times. Sometimes our hearts are broke in a million pieces, and hopelessness sets in.  Wondering...how will we ever put it all back together the way it was? We won't. But God will put it back together, but not the same as it was, better!

Hold On...

(This is a repost from http://iambeloved2.wordpress.com  she is a remarkable young lady, who writes from the heart, I am sure if you read this post you will agree. )

I have a strong dislike for Christian music. However, lately I have found myself turning WJTL on during my 45 minute morning drive. I love meeting God in the early morning hours and I think this is part of the reason why I randomly turned it on early this week. I was met with a song that hit me in the gut. I have no idea who this band is or if they are any good, but the lyrics felt like they were meant for me in that exact moment.

Overwhelming Love

When my I was pregnant with my first child, her father died. There are no words for what I felt or thought during those remaining three months of pregnancy. No one could console me. I locked myself in my room, and only family saw me, when they intruded in my space.  No words came from my lips. No tears fell from my eyes. Total numbness.

Love your enemies? yeah right...

“How do you show someone the love of Christ when you just want to pound the crap out of them?”

A New Bible Study

Do you know Him?  I mean really know Him?  You call yourself a Christian, but  you haven’t picked up the Bible and read it for yourself in years.  Are you leading your heart to be closer to Christ?

Safe? Safe place?

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

One of my most favorite worship songs is Strong Tower-Kutless, often times visualizing God as the place of refuge when the world is overbearing. Remembering that Hebrews 11 tells us that faith credits us righteousness. But safe? We are safe in HIM, just not the usage of the word that we have grown accustomed to... People still die, and love HIM very much. We still encounter pain, both physically and emotionally. But we are still safe in HIM. How can I say that?

The Seed of Bitterness

Struggling many times with disappointment and wondering how it turns into anger and bitterness. It seems without much warning the whole world can turn upside down within my heart. WOW! what or how did that happen. God is always awesome to lead me to something that shines a light on my heart..this week HE led me to http://www.lynseleanne.com/blog/2009/07/09/thoughts-on-authenticity/, if you get a chance to read this, i am thinking her questions will do a work in your heart as well...

men

This is reposted from http://kassota.wordpress.com/

This last weekend our pastor spoke to men. and he spoke to them rather harshly. Theres a link below for you to listen to in a sec. but it got me thinking about all the men i have been subjected to in my life.

Men…do you realize that every little girl dreams of being safe? Every little girl dreams of being cuddled by her husband as her children run about the room? Every little girl dreams of being held at the end of the day and whispered to, “i love you”? Do you realize this? Do you, really?

But, this dream does not flesh itself out for every little girl.

Finding our Worth

Lately, when looking around at the many discussions border lining arguments, great heaviness fills my heart.

Devotional Thoughts And Prayers.

The morning devotionals are provided as a daily filter for your day.   We would like you to leave your thoughts and prayers as you read through them.   So please use the comments section below this post to leave your thoughts.  It will become a running list of thoughts and prayers of things that Phil 4:8 points us to.

The Big and Little prayers

Always amazed at how God answers prayers that have been prayed only in a way that I often least expect. Sometimes exactly how I prayed for them, and still I marvel at HIS hand moving in my life. I don't think I ever want to get over the Greatness of my GOD.

A question about Men and leading.

I wanted to bring this older post back to the top.   The other day I met Chad, a fellow brother in Christ.  We started talking about the Men in this world and he said something I have known for awhile but bares repeating.  “This world is under attack, and specifically Men.  Satan knows that if you take the Men out of the picture, you affect the Wife, Children, Family, and Business…Eventually the whole world.”  That so true.   You can look no further than David or Solomon.  Two men;  one with a heart for God and one with the Wisdom from God.  Both attacked by satan in moments of apathy, David by lust and Solomon by selfish desire.  Satan had the intention of taking them both out of the picture.

Then I read a post by Tam at inProgress about submission, and I commented.

“If men lead as Christ did by serving, then men make it easy for women to submit to their leadership.

If I show my wife enough of Christ she will willfully follow me to Christ.

I have to submit first to Christ through  and in servant hood, before I have the right to be submitted to.”

So Men I again Ask,  How are you leading?

Do Not Harden Your Heart...Whatever

Today in my quiet time , I read this not for the first time, but anew. Psalm 95: 7-11, and landed for a while on the end of 7 and verse 8- "Today if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in Meribah, and as you did at Massah in the desert,"

God's Power is enough for Ordinary Men

The Bible is full of ordinary men who God used in extraordinary ways.  He used these Men many times to lead people closer and closer to Him.  Still to this day God through his extraordinary power is using men to lead.  The road we lead on is narrow, and the doorway to Him is small.  Relying on His power is not something as men we do naturally.

Starting the day with a Philter

There are mornings when I know ,with out a doubt, that this day will not be an example of Christ. Sad, but true. The reason is, I have not applied the "Philter" to life that will make my day rise above the chaos of the news, world events, and family demands. LOVE THEM, but they are demanding in a subtle way, and usually not intending to be that way.

The Bible: Tool or Weapon?

Many Christians have come to think that the bible is like everything else in their life.

Our best is imperfect.

We long and desire for what we can not have.  We look for ways to heal the hurts.  We hear over and over it is up to us to make this life better.  We must do our best to get what we so desire now.  Yet when we think we have it all together that is when our heart hurts the most.  All the effort we put in never fills the holes of our imperfect heart.  We come face to face with our imperfection when we sin.

Love replaces sin

For the past few weeks there is an ongoing theme raging.  Can the world truly understand what it means to love more deeply?   What will it take to make the world understand the need to love more deeply through actions and not words.  To learn to filter actions through love, and not hate.  Love and not selfishness.

Love more deeply.

Loving another more deeply is harder than most people think, but it is what we are commanded to do by Christ.   Loving deeply is what he modeled for us through his ministry.

His Bride!

Have you ever completed a book with the words, "I need to buy a copy for everyone I know?"

Live Blog Tuesday 9:15pm -- Who did Jesus came to save?

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah gives us a picture of who God indented to save when He sent His Son to save us. Join me live tomorrow night, to talk about who Christ came to save.

Live Blog.. General Discusion

Join the live blog tonight.

When desire intersects imperfection.

Getting to the heart of the matter.

Our heart is our identity to God.  To Him it reveals everything about us.  Many thoughts go through our head but our heart is the key to how God views our faith and attitude towards him.  So don't you think it is time to get to the heart of the matter?

Two Question Tuesday

Every Tuesday we are going to post two questions for discussion.   Comments are moderated so we will do our best to get them authorized as quickly as possible.

Nathen Edwards 10 Questions

In the eyes of the world Nathan is still just a kid at 18 years of age.  However in the biblical since he is wise beyond his years without losing his child like faith.   Co- founder of j516.com, Nathan writes from his heart shooting straight with the reader on subjects that every man battles.    Nathan now steps up to the 10 question challenge.

We study. read, Pray and worship.  Yet we don't seem to be getting anywhere, and we still have a tremendous hurt for something this world can not offer.  Join me tonight at 9:30pm EST as I blog live about:  Why do we hurt?

Phil 2: 8-11

Christ became human for a plan that we as humans have a hard time comprehending. It is through that plan that everyone will know that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Affect The Noise 2: 40 Verses.

Don't think you have the power to affect the information flow going out to the world?   Here a second challenge for everyone to affect the information in the lives of 40 people.

Carl Kroboth 10 Questions

Carl Kroboth takes the 10 question challange.

Get Involved...Build a Community

Philter48 is a ministry about building a community, and we need you to help.  There are four ways to get involved and help build the content of this site, so others can see the effects of Christ in the lives of his followers.

Whatever is admirable

To do without for the sake of someone else, to avoid the lure of this world's pleasures. That is admirable. God will say "well done."

Live Blog 4... Relying on God

Tonight I will be blogging about relying on God's Strength and Submitting to him.

Affect the Noise, The 40 prayer Challenge.

Don't think you have the power to affect the information flow going out to the world?  Here is a way/challenge for you to affect the information in the lives of 40 people.

Agree to Disagree

After many years of study and prayer, I have left the institutional church for a more spirit-led, non-hierarchical way to be the Body of Christ (His Church).  I wanted to share one thing this has taught me?

Live Blog 3 - Hearing through the noise.

This is the 3 Live blog, tonight I will continue on the topic of listening and hearing God through the noise of this world.

What if they lose?

As I minister to different individuals I often wonder what is the point. In the world full of garbage I worry that I am not being effective with God's truth. Then I remember that I am commanded to spread the good news. Mark 16:15-16 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. It is not up to me to be effective, I must plant the seed, and if the person fertile ground the Holy Spirit will take over.

After all, What if they lose?

Losing the awe and wonder of a Child of God.

Have we stopped being children when it comes to belief in God?  Have we stopped looking to Him with a childs eye of awe and wonder?  The garbage of this word is consuming our thoughts, and takes our mind off being a child of God.

Three Monkeys

As a follow up to last nights live blog.  Philter48 thought this post would be a good quick read.  Plus it will help point out how and why we ad noise to our life.

Live Blog 2-- Listening Through the Noise.

Join me tonight at 9:30, as I blog about listening to God through the noise of life.

Philippians 2: 5-7

We are human and we have no power to resist the tempation of the world. So What does it mean that Christ became human?

How do you feel about this statistic?

No commentary.  Just wanted to get your input.

The ways of the world fail to heal a broken heart.

Tomorrow, Good Friday we remember why Christ came to this world.   This world leaves our hearts broken and torn as we fail to find meaning.  The hand of God is reaching out on the Cross to heal our failing hearts.

Live Blog... Why do we fail?

The live blog is complete, but the archive is posted for all to read.  Comments welcome as always.

Brian Swan 10 Questions

Brian Swan is the first to take the 10 question challange.

Fight night?

Jerry James took a right to the chops for Jesus the other night.

Four ways to get involved.

Philter48 is a ministry about you.  Four ways to get involved and help build the content of this site, so other can see the effects of Christ in the lives of his followers.

Philippians 2: 1-4

In the second chapter of Philippians, Paul turns his attention to the church as a whole, and begins to address the division he sees happening in Philippi.

Knowing from a Biblical Worldview

“Every Christian should know a little bit about almost everything; some Christians should also know a lot about many things; others should strive to know all there is to know about a very few things.”  James Sire from Discipleship of the Mind, page 137.

Whatever is lovely

The Truth of the greatest command,  is the Truth of God that drives the core of  faith in His Son.  Beliveing that God's Truth and only His Truth is best spread by finding the ways to think of our actions in regards to love, and the example set by Christ. Then loving someone in the same way.

Why did I do that again?

Recidivism: is the rate at which ex-convicts become convicts all over again.

Separating faith(church) and religion(state).

Can a man separate his religion/faith from his life? Nowhere is this issue more prevalent than in the debate of the 1st Amendment in the Constitution of the United States of America. However the 1st amendment is just an illustration of the problem with man mad ideals. The use of religion to mean faith is another.

It all boils down to a choice.

Last week we had 4 posts on the choices made everyday.   Pure Choices, choosing to accept talent from GodR-Rated movies or not, and Questions about everyday content that we allow into our mind.  With all of these it comes down to one choice...

Questions, and More Questions???

I have been on a diet the last couple months taking in healthy food and exercise.  I have had great results.  So I am curious.  I was wondering what it would be like to try and go on a healthy cultural diet.

Should Christians watch R rated movies

Philter48 is pleased to introduce you to Joe McBee.  He is a brother in Christ and has been writing on his personal blog for awile.  He has a tremedous heart for God.  What follows is the first post  Carl ever read by Him.  We can think of no better way to introduce him to you than by how we were introduce to him.

An R-rated motion picture, in the view of the Rating Board, contains some adult material. An R-rated motion picture may include adult themes, adult activity, hard language, intense or persistent violence, sexually-oriented nudity, drug abuse or other elements, so that parents are counseled to take this rating very seriously. Children under 17 are not allowed to attend R-rated motion pictures unaccompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Parents are strongly urged to find out more about R-rated motion pictures in determining their suitability for their children. Generally, it is not appropriate for parents to bring their young children with them to R-rated motion pictures.

Jacob Tamme knows where his talents come from.

Anyone who knows me knows I am a huge University Of Kentucky fan when it comes to sports.  So this video is a wonderful find.  Jacob Tamme was and is one of my favorite players.  When I saw this video and his testimony for Christ, I had to share it.   He made the choices to stay connected to Christ, and reconizes the need for daily sacrifice.    Enjoy.

What ever is pure through choices made.

In Phil 4:8 we are called to think on things that are pure.  We make choices for purity every day. The choices we make will lead to obedience of the word of God, or we will be subject to God’s wrath. Ephesians gives us a guide line for what is pure.

Philippians 1:25-28

How do we conduct our self in regards to the Gospel of Christ? Do we boast that people find comfort because of us, or because of the message of the Gospel. Do we protect the integrity of the Gospel or do we degrade the sacrifice with sin and distorting the truth of Christ.

What does it "means"?

I personally am not a big fan of technology and the internet.  I struggle sometimes if I am even doing the right thing by embracing it.

Where does our hope come from?

After Brian's article on The American Dream, I started thinking about Hope, and what it means.  What builds hope, and where does it come from?

Have we gotten to the point where we put our hope in to much stuff that is of this world?  Man made ideals and platitudes rule the day.  Promises are made to be broken, and we continue to believe the promises broken.  Where does it end?  Where does our hope come from.

God tells us what is "Right" about the Marriage Covenant.

Men in the marriage covenant have a huge responsibility when it comes to leading their wives. And it is “right” that men take on this responsibility.

What ever is True: Phil 4:8 - Part 4

Pride takes us on a progression through a set of stages that leads us to accept worldly influences as true.

The American Dream

I have heard this term being thrown around a lot lately since the economy has been tanking. I hear it, but what does it mean? I think it is another term in our culture that has evolved over the years.

Noble is a Godly Quality

When thinking about Truth some how I automatically link it with Nobility. It almost saddens me. Rarely is our Western culture truthful, much less Noble, mostly it is self seeking and self gratifying. Usually with a catch or small print too small to read yet alone comprehend. Not at all like the word was designed to be. God is True, HE is truthful, and HIS word is Truth. When a person stands firm on the Truth of God, Noble is the quality that is produced.

What ever is True: Phil 4:8 - Part 3

Part 3 continues from the question:  Is there something or someone that is absolute from the beginning?  Yes, there is.

Philippians 1: 21-24

What is this life about anyway? When we accept Christ we take on a new identity, and we have life for eternity. So why in the world would we want to go on living?

Daily Transformation by Sam Follet j516.com

Part of Philter48 will be to feature articles we have read else where that pertain to walking in the Truth of Christ.

Nathan and Sam at www.j516.com have started an online ministry geared torwards men and accountability, centered on the verse: James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Last week Same Follet posted and article about the Daily transformation we must make as followers of Christ.  With their permission I have reposted it here in the Mens Topics.

Where do you stop for directions?
