About You: First I love my God, and he is taking me through a process of forgetting what I know about love, and learning what it means to love like He does. My Family is my life, and my first ministry. I lead them by serving, and hoping they see enough of Christ in me to follow me to him. As a family we are making tough choices daily when it comes to how we live, and the things we value. God is showing us in many ways that simple is better and more rewarding. From home to work to church to the world, my mission is to find and administer the love of Christ in everything I do. It is the greatest of commands to Love God, and Love others. Who am I to disobey?

Why Philter48?: There comes a point in a persons life where you just have to stop sucking in the garbage this world throws at you. I have gotten to that point. Paul in Phil 4:8 gives us a filter to help us get the garbage out of our lives. God’s truth is the only way to live a life righteous enough to make it through Phil 4:8. One of my favorite things is to see others live their lives according to God’s truth and share their experiences so they can help others. That is what Philter48 is all about.

About Philter48

Philter48 Ministries is a ministry about you. Our core focus is to help you find Christ and his truth in everything, and once you find that truth continue to use it to filter out the garbage that so easily entangles us and turns us away from the life Christ want for us.

Heb 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Have you ever just wondered, in all the media driven messages, all the worldly events, and as time rushes by…What is Truth? What is the standard Christ asks of us as Christians, His disciples to follow?

We are not perfect, only Christ is, but God asks us to raise the bar and to live up to a higher standard. When what we absorb on a daily basis is garbage. How do we take control of the information, control our conversation, our thoughts, our lives, and live as Truth? As Christian ministers, pastors, teachers, leaders, members, and volunteers, we are called to be different than the world.

When the world is against you, when we struggle to live as Christ, when all we want to know is what is true; we find most of the questions we ask have to do with everyday issues from; money to family, from alcohol to sex, from sin to forgiveness. When the world is against us and we struggle to find the Truth we feel by living the Christian life we are swimming against an impossible current of garbage. Have you ever wondered how other Christians filter through these issues? It takes a lot of work, to filter our life through the Truth, but it makes a person stronger the more we are able to find the Truth in our lives. If we do not learn to filter what is coming into our lives and find the Truth it becomes easy to stop swimming and have the current take you back in the other direction.

OUR HEART: The heart of Philter48 is to encourage Christ’s Church to engage our culture to make Godly decisions by developing relationships, and helping one another in making those decisions based on the filters in Philippians 4:8.

OUR DESIRE: The desire of Philter48 is to create an environment where Christians can converse about and collaborate on experiences they have had, and how they use their faith in determining their decision-making. This will be done by providing an online place for people to gather and communicate in forums and bible studies.

Philter48 Ministries is real people sharing real life, using their Faith and Knowledge of the Truth of Christ to transform their lives into:

Whatever is true.

Whatever is noble.

Whatever is right.

Whatever is pure.

Whatever is lovely,

Whatever is admirable.

If anything is excellent.

If anything is praiseworthy.

We will think on this things!

About You: For the last 10 years, I have been on a journey to know and love the LORD more, to become a radical disciple. This journey is full of ups and downs, but always covered in the love of Christ. I am on a mission to know Christ and make HIM known. My main goal is to be found in HIM, and that others will see enough of HIM in me to come closer, and taste and see that HE is good.
